As a busy mom to two active daughters, Lindsey understands the importance of leading by example. She embraces her role in demonstrating to her daughters the significance of health and fitness in their overall well-being. Chris Keith has been working as a professional personal fitness trainer in San Diego since 1995. Although his curiosity about fitness started much earlier, lifting weights at 8 years old with his Joe Weider weight set. He has been hooked ever since.

He was first certified as a personal trainer in 1994, just before being honorably discharged from The United States Navy.

Chris is the most effective, motivational, and inspiring personal trainer in San Diego, helping over 2,000 individuals on their health and fitness journey. With his passion spanning nearly three decades, he is also the most knowledgeable, experienced, and compassionate 1-on-1 Personal Trainer in San Diego for weight loss, strength building, and post physical therapy. His goal is to not only help clients reach their fitness goals, but to educate, inspire, and impart healthy habits that will last a lifetime.

Chris is very proficient in nutrition, flexibility/mobility, movement preparation, powerlifting, and bodyweight exercise for athletic development. His clients range from all levels of fitness, from beginner to advanced; and include all age groups.

His career history includes launching BootCamp619 in May of 2007, San Diego’s first outdoor fitness bootcamp. As the city’s fitness leader, his initiative paved the way for others, resulting in the establishment of over one hundred bootcamps within the following year. In January of 2010, Chris further expanded his impact by opening CrossFit619, San Diego’s 6th affiliate, which quickly gained prominence as the second highest-ranked affiliate in the city in terms of memberships and impressive results. Notably, CrossFit619 became renowned for its strength training, particularly empowering women and sending two female athletes to regionals in 2012 and 2014. With an already accomplished career history, Chris transitioned from group training to one-on-one personal training, prioritizing quality over quantity. It is in this realm that Chris wholeheartedly believes he makes the most profound impact on people’s lives.

Chris embraces the responsibility of leading by example, especially when it comes to his role as a father to two daughters. Through his actions, he instills the important values of discipline, perseverance, and self-care. Chris believes that by nurturing their physical and mental health, his daughters will grow up with a solid foundation of confidence, a strong work ethic and the ability to overcome challenges with grace and resilience.

His list of professional accolades and credentials is extensive and spans over a 28-year career in the fitness industry. Featured on NBC’s Today Show with Kathy Lee and Hoda, Inside Edition, and numerous local telecasts for his chiseled physique, he maintains less than 10% body fat year-round. He was voted Best Personal Trainer in San Diego by numerous publications and continues to be a local fitness celebrity and advisor to the local media on health and fitness related issues.
